Every two weeks, I share some of the latest tips from one of our (currently) 30 Spotted by Locals blogs – with you.
Today: tips by our locals from Zagreb (Croatia), all of whom we met during 2 trips to Zagreb in 2008 and 2010.
1) Skalinska Zagreb – great place for cheap local lunch
Zagreb Spotter Milana Martinovic: “Although they would hardly receive a Michelin star, the food is quite tasty and surprisingly cheap for downtown Zagreb…”
2) KIC club Zagreb – A hot spot to chill
Zagreb Spotter Nikolina Demark: ” KIC is always buzzing with lots of people, mostly young intellectuals. The waiters have serious mood swings…”
3) Vrući Burek – The local Zagreb snack
Zagreb Spotter Krunoslav Koprivnjak: “But the burek discussed here is sold in a specialised burek booth on a green market called Kvatriæ and, as is most often the case, when somebody specialises in something, it’s usually top quality stuff.:”
4) Museum of Street Art – Art, everywhere
Zagreb Spotter Karla Lončar: “The Museum of Street Art, like any other street art exhibition space, doesn’t have a permanent space or opening times for its exhibitions.”
