When travelling, it is well known that getting to know, through the local, the real people and places you are visiting allows you to get the most out of your trip. It allows you to really discover the country as if you, yourself were a resident.

With the  local travel movement building up worldwide, we know know that there is no better way to discover Hungary and any other place for that matter.  As it is through the locals that you can find the hidden spots, the customs of its inhabitants.  It is with the locals that you escape from your world to enter another one – THAT is travelling and discovering new places!  While a guide book can give you a good overview of the area and probably find the best tourist attractions, it is with the locals that you can find the places where the locals hang out and the places which will become the next tourist attraction.

Would you let someone tell you about your country, your town, who has never been to either and tell you where to go and what to see?  Of course not.  So when traveling it’s logical to go locals to get the best out of your travel.
