Every month, I share some of the latest tips from one of our (currently) 38 Spotted by Locals blogs – with you.
Today: tips by our locals from Stockholm (Sweden).
1) Bauer – A trendy bar in a trendy neighborhood with great cocktails (pictured above)
Stockholm local Anna Ostman: “What the interior decorators were on when they started designing Bauer is probably something we don’t want to know.”
2) Bonniers Konsthall – The other great contemporary art museum
Stockholm local Suzanna Schwarz: “It is easy to overlook this beautiful venue for contemporary art and head straight to Moderna museet when in Stockholm. However, I really recommend a visit to Bonniers Konsthall to check out the current exhibition or grab a snack in the cafe.”
3) KGB – Soviet nostalgia restaurant
Stockholm local Linda Iliste: “It’s not just the interior design that reveal Soviet mania. The menu is full of blinis and borscht – and is reasonably priced, especially for the area. “
4) Kulturföreningen Pluto – Underground club in Gröndal
Stockholm local Suzanna Schwarz: “surrounding yourself with heavy clouds of cigarette smoke Pluto offers a welcome break from the clean and somewhat sterile club scene of Stockholm.”
5) Trekanten – The all season lake in the center of the city
Stockholm Spotter Linda Iliste: “Trekanten is a very pretty district with walking paths and places to fish. During the winter people come here to ice skate “
